This fall, Washington, D.C. welcomes a rooftop gathering designed not just for visibility but for intentional presence.

On Saturday, September 28th, from 4PM to 8PM, the private penthouse terrace at Limani, a Mediterranean restaurant perched above The Wharf will host an experience where style, sound, art, and purpose rise together. This isn’t a party. It’s a curated pause. An invitation to show up fully, beautifully, and in community.
The evening is led by two women who understand the power of creative direction and cultural gathering: Aliya Duran of Mindbolic Studios and Ashanti Cynnik of The Making Events. Their fingerprints are all over this event from the vibe of the space to the flow of the programming. For them, this rooftop isn’t just real estate with a view; it’s an altar for energy, artistry, and alignment.
The backdrop is intentional. Guests will step into panoramic views of Washington’s,DC, waterfront, surrounded by dusk skies and city breeze. The setting encourages more than networking or selfies; it calls for connection, stillness, and reflection.
But make no mistake this is a stylish room. The type where looks matter, but meaning matters more. Where fashion speaks, but feeling speaks louder. Guests are invited to come as themselves, adorned in whatever bold or simple truth feels most honest.
Throughout the evening, the penthouse will pulse with rhythm and beauty. DJ Charity brings the soundtrack, shifting the air with carefully selected soundscapes that match the tone of the evening. Eddie K Jr., saxophonist and live performer, will float melodies above the crowd soft but undeniable, like memory in motion.

Visual storytelling takes form through Valentina, a multidisciplinary artist who will paint live across canvas and body. Her work does not aim to impress. It aims to express. And alongside her, a dance performance will blend motion with message, proving that movement, too, can be a language.
Guests will browse a curated collection of local vendors offering original fashion pieces, handmade goods, hat collections, wellness products, and limited-edition art. These are not mass-market booths. They are handpicked creators who reflect the tone of the evening: intentional, original, and rooted.
Drinks and bites complete the experience. Mediterranean cuisine from Limani will be available for purchase, alongside handcrafted cocktails featuring Wilde Irish Gin, a brand known for its layered botanicals and crisp finish.
The atmosphere will be captured by three distinct visual storytellers: RUL Photography, YourNextPhotoBooth, and Studio R Designs. Guests won’t need to ask for a photo opp. The entire evening is one.

This rooftop gathering isn’t about hype. It’s about harmony. It’s a four-hour exhale at the edge of the city designed for those who move through the world with intention, who dress for energy and not applause, and who believe art is not a moment, but a method.
This experience is proudly presented by Artbae LLC and The Artbae Foundation Inc., supported in part by the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities and the Black Justice Fund.
Some events trend. Others leave a mark. This is the latter.
